Clarcona Resort used to be known as Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort, a Condominium, back in 1982. The name of the property was later changed to Clarcona Resort Condominium Association in 1997. The Association has since evolved from a seasonal residential campground into an active and friendly year-round residential community.
Clarcona Resort is unique in many ways, including its self-sustained infrastructure. The community operates its own private water, wastewater, and sewer systems, located directly on the property and maintained by experienced staff who bring many years of professional knowledge and expertise to their respective fields. The property is managed seven days a week, through a CAM with office staff on-site Monday through Friday. There are several third-party vendors that help provide trash collection, landscaping, pool service, and water/wastewater operations as well.
Community access is provided by a virtual gate which requires preauthorization from the owner or tenant. Residents also enjoy a variety of community amenities. The swimming pool serves as a sparkling centerpiece where residents of all ages can relax and enjoy the Florida sunshine, while the community’s beautiful live oak trees and spacious grounds help preserve the distinctive character that Clarcona Resort has developed throughout its history.
The community offers several events throughout the year and has several active committees and dedicated volunteers who help one another, making everyone feel welcome and included in food distribution and social events. What truly makes Clarcona special, however, is its sense of community. Throughout the year, residents have opportunities to participate in social events, community activities, food distributions, and other programs. Several active committees, dedicated volunteers, residents, and staff work together to support the community and help create an environment where neighbors can connect, participate, and feel welcome.
From its beginnings as Jellystone Park to the thriving residential community it is today, the Resort continues to grow and evolve while maintaining the neighborly spirit that makes it a special place to call home.
